KIMBERLEY HOUSE EAST & WEST – WESSEX CARE, SALISBURY
Wessex Care is a family run group of care homes in Salisbury, Wiltshire, with a distinctly different approach to looking after vulnerable adults, offering them a home in the real sense of the word, where everything is focused solely on their needs, where the care and support is everything they deserve and they can lead their everyday lives just as they wish. With this in mind, Wessex Care recently constructed and completed a brand new facility, Kimberley House East & West, which is specifically tailored to suit their residents requirements.
Premier Fire Security provided their expertise to the project design team, Front Row Projects Ltd, to provide the Fire Alarm, Access Control, Door Entry and Powered Gate systems across the whole development. With the success of the delivery for this project, Wessex Care have also awarded Premier with the ongoing maintenance of these systems.
Premier are now liaising with Front Row Projects to embark on the next residential care project, where construction is already underway.
FIRE ALARM SYSTEM
We carried out the design, supply and commission of a category L1/M fire alarm system to BS5839 part 1 2017. Advanced Electronic fire panels and Apollo Fire Detector field devices were used.
ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM
We carried out the design, supply, install and commission of a new Paxton Net2 Access Control System, incorporating Net2 Entry equipment as well.
